What Is the Purpose of our Executive Committee?

The Executive exists in terms of our constitution to manage the day to day activities of the Chamber.

It has many roles and amongst them is the long term viability and health of the chamber.

It approves and oversees the activities of the respective committees. 

The aim and philosophy of the Executive Team is to engage as many of the Chamber members as possible. This leads to smaller roles being covered by many and as well allows the Chamber to achieve as much as it does.

Whilst this takes place at a local level members of the Executive Committee engage with and represent on regional bodies. The aim being to be able to advocate from a stronger base.

We are keen to ensure that incoming members are able to transition into their positions with ease and encourage any members interested in contributing at this level to contact our Secretary.
